Another year, another appeal to raise much needed funds for projects that we have supported for more than sixty years, and continue to support. If nothing else, COVID has given us the incentive to think outside the box. Last year we put our collective heads together and came up with what we think is a win-win situation for all concerned, particularly the business sector.
We realize that along with Christmas comes stress in what to give as an appropriate gift. Like most, we now say our health, family and friends are the most important gifts of all.
Adding to that, a ‘Taste of the Good Life’ Basket filled with Gourmet Cheese, Italian Crackers, Red Chili Spread, Landjaegers made by Rudolph’s Pure Sausage in Telkwa, Mustard, Antipasto, Nuts, Kettle Chips, Smoked Olive Gourmet Mix, Wine and Purdy Chocolates will go a long way in saying I appreciate you whether it is an employee, friend or someone that you would like to thank for going the extra mile.
Of course, it doesn’t have to be limited to any one type of basket. For example, it could be a Caffeine Fix Basket. There’s no shortage of accessories and beans that can be gifted to a coffee lover. Give them their daily jolt of java with Salt Spring Island fair trade Coffee Beans, made is a French Press to be served in two lovely Coffee Mugs along with Viennese Wafers from Greece, and Italian Butter Shortbread.
Down Time Basket with a 1000-piece Christmas Puzzle or Board Game for the entire family to enjoy with Nibbles and Pop!
Around The World Beer Bucket: Make game days more enjoyable for that someone special with this bucket including six refreshing beers. Plus, it’s loaded with tasty snacks like kettle corn, nuts, landjaegers and cheese.
Price of baskets will vary based on its content. $200.00 will get you an exquisite ‘Taste of the Good Life Basket’. However, we’re not biased; we could include a bottle of Dom Perigon with added features to create an impressive display of pure luxury. Baskets are only limited to your imagination and ours.
Either way, the Rotary Club of Kitimat will help you, and in turn, you will help us support the Kitimat Dementia Care Home and the many other community projects that we fund.
